Our Story
Rooted in East Africa. Shaped between two worlds.
What’s in a Name
Nomari is born from two words: Nomad and Safari.
Nomad speaks to the instinct to wander — the quiet pull toward exploration.
Safari, the Swahili word for journey, grounds us in East Africa.
Together, Nomari represents travel that is intentional, rooted, and deeply human.
Not movement for the sake of movement —
but journeys that mean something.
Travel, Done Thoughtfully
We do not design travel for spectacle.
We design it for connection —
to land, to culture, to the people who call this place home.
Every journey is built slowly, with respect.
For travelers who value depth over speed.
The East Africa I Know
I was born and raised in Kenya.
Later, Sweden taught me simplicity, clarity, and design that breathes.
Distance didn’t weaken my connection to home — it
sharpened it. I began to see what makes East Africa extraordinary:
the stillness of lions at dawn,
the warmth woven into daily life,
the way you can move from golden plains to turquoise waters in a single afternoon.
Nomari grew from a desire to share this place differently —
not through spectacle, but through care.
Every journey reflects that bridge between two worlds:
warmth and intention.
Depth and simplicity.
This is not mass tourism.
It is personal.
